Erica Pecina is a product of PISD. She graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and the University of Houston- Clear Lake with an MLIS.

She is married to her husband of 16 years and together they have two daughters who also attend PISD schools.

Mrs. Pecina enjoys reading, going to the beach, and traveling.
