BHI 7th Grade Team Wins National Academic Pentathlon Title

PASADENA, TX - The Beverly Hill Intermediate seventh-grade Academic Pentathlon team earned top honors this month, claiming the Online National Pentathlon Championship and showcasing the school’s commitment to academic excellence, opportunity and experience.
The BHI Bears earned first place overall in the national competition, standing out among schools from across the country. Several students also received individual honors in their respective division.
The following students were recognized for their achievements:
- Brandon C. – 3rd Place Overall, 7th Grade Honors Division
- Thi N. – 2nd Place Overall, 7th Grade Scholastic Division
- Alyssa R. – 2nd Place Overall, 7th Grade Varsity Division
- Diego F. – 2nd Place Overall, 8th Grade Honors Division
The team’s success reflects both the students’ dedication and the guidance of coaches Grant Pector, Mackwell Hickerson, Dawn Nguyen and Raymond Ulloa. Support from Principal Ashley Collier also contributed to the program’s continued growth and achievement leading to another National win for the district.
