Pasadena Memorial Student Artwork Selected for Statewide Youth Art Exhibition

Pasadena, TX — Pasadena Memorial High School student Jair Araujo has been recognized and selected to showcase his artwork, “First Birthday” in the Texas Art Education Association’s (TAEA) Youth Art Month (YAM) Spring Exhibition.
This year’s exhibition, which highlights outstanding Pre-K–12 student artwork from across Texas, features several selected participants, including Jair Araujo. The exhibit will be on display March 1–29, 2026, at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin and online at: Youth Art Month 2026 | Bullock Texas State History Museum
Youth Art Month is a statewide and national March celebration that highlights the value of visual arts education and recognizes students' experiences through the arts. It honors students like Jair, whose artwork reflects dedication and artistic growth.
