Park View Intermediate Dedicates 'Hasson Hallway' in Honor of Longtime Administrator

PASADENA, Texas — Park View Intermediate honored one of its most dedicated leaders on May 13, 2025, with the official naming of a campus hallway as “Hasson Hallway” in recognition of Dr. Robert Hasson’s 23 years of service to Pasadena ISD.

Dr. Hasson, who served as principal of Park View for 17 years and assistant principal for three years, was celebrated for the lasting impact he made on generations of students, staff and the surrounding community.

The dedication ceremony, held on campus, welcomed district administrators, community members and members of Dr. Hasson’s family. Attendees gathered to reflect on his legacy and the meaningful contributions he made throughout his tenure.Rene Hasson gives a speech in honor of her late husband. 

“Our hallway dedication to Dr. Hasson goes beyond just his name and picture; it embodies his profound impact on our community. He inspired countless educators to learn and grow,” said Park View Principal Christina Serna. "I vividly remember how he would visit with me at meetings and ask when I planned to apply for principal positions. His belief in my potential and in that of so many others was incredibly encouraging. Dr. Hasson’s legacy will continue to inspire us all as we strive for excellence and work to make a meaningful difference in our students’ lives.”

The newly named hallway serves as a daily reminder of Dr. Hasson’s leadership and the values he instilled during his years of service.
