Whitney Barber

Campus Specialist, Reading Language Arts

Whitney Barber is a dedicated educational leader with a strong background in instructional coaching, curriculum design, and professional development. In her role as a Campus Content Specialist, she collaborates extensively with school leaders and campus coaches to implement and refine instructional protocols, analyze assessment data, and develop plans to support student learning. Whitney is instrumental in identifying professional learning needs, supporting new coaches, and ensuring effective instructional practices across campuses. Her work includes facilitating instructional coaching observations, providing feedback to teachers, and modeling data analysis activities to inform instructional decisions. Whitney has also demonstrated significant leadership experience, serving on various leadership teams and strategic planning committees.

With a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Walden University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Sam Houston State University, Whitney is committed to lifelong learning and teacher empowerment. She has developed and presented numerous professional development sessions and attended a wide range of training programs to enhance her skills. Whitney’s exceptional collaboration skills, passion for educational excellence, and dedication to building strong, supportive relationships make her a valuable asset to the educational community. Whitney currently supports Schneider Middle School, Morris Middle School, Sullivan Middle School, and Roberts Middle School.
