CONDITIONS OF ENROLLMENT

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT TIME OF REGISTRATION TO ESTABLISH FULL ELIGIBILITY FOR PREKINDERGARTEN

Proof of child’s age and identity for Pre-Kindergarten students

Must present an original or certified copy of birth certificate at the time of registration

Record of current immunizations 

Must present up-to-date immunizations for your child.

Proof of Residency

Acceptable documents include the following: Two documents required

  • Deed
  • Mortgage Payment Booklet
  • Current Lease or Rental Agreement and
  • Current Utility Bill (water, gas, electric, land-line phone)

Please note: If your residence or housing is uncertain, you lack a permanent physical address or live at a temporary address, you can still enroll in school. Contact the school's attendance clerk or school district's homeless liaison office at 713-740-0250 for more information.

Other Documents for Eligibility Determination

Educationally Disadvantaged- Proof of Income

  • Current SNAP or TANF documentation
  • Current Medicaid documentation 
  • Current paycheck stub (at least two current paycheck stubs)
  • Current pay envelope (when paid in cash)
  • Letter from employer stating gross wages paid and how often they are paid
  • Unemployment, Worker’s Compensation or Disability payment stub
  • Acceptable documentation for self-employment income include: Business or farming documents, such as ledger books and/or self-issued paycheck stub

Active Military-Military orders or Military ID Card

Foster Care- Foster Care Letter

Star of Texas Award - Provide resolution (certificate) awarded

CONDICIONES DE INSCRIPCIÓN

DOCUMENTOS REQUERIDOS AL MOMENTO DEL REGISTRO PARA ESTABLECER LA ELEGIBILIDAD COMPLETA PARA PREKINDERGARTEN.

Prueba de edad y identidad del niño para los estudiantes de Pre-Kindergarten.

Debe presentar la acta de nacimiento original o una copia certificada  al momento de la inscripción.

Registro de inmunizaciones actuales. 

Debe presentar las vacunas actualizadas para su hijo

Prueba de residencia

Los documentos aceptables incluyen lo siguiente: Dos documentos requeridos

  • Escrituras
  • Folleto de pago de hipoteca
  • Contrato de alquiler actual y
  • Factura de servicios públicos actual (agua, gas, electricidad, teléfono fijo)

Tenga en cuenta: si su residencia o vivienda es incierta, no tiene una dirección física permanente o vive en una dirección temporal, todavía puede inscribirse en la escuela.  Comuníquese con el secretario de asistencia de la escuela o con la oficina para personas sin hogar del distrito escolar al 713-740-0250 para obtener más información.

Desventaja educativa - Prueba de ingresos

  • Documentación actual de SNAP o TANF
  • Documentación actual de Medicaid
  • Talón de cheque actual (al menos dos talones de cheque actual)
  • Sobre de pago actual (cuando se paga en efectivo)
  • Carta del empleador que indique el salario bruto pagado y la frecuencia con la que se les paga.
  • Talón de pago de desempleo, compensación del trabajador o incapacidad
  • La documentación aceptable para los ingresos del trabajo por cuenta propia incluye: Documentos comerciales o agrícolas, como libros contables y / o talones de cheques de pago auto emitidos
