Chief C. L. Ellis Chief Ellis has served as a Texas Peace Officer for over four decades. He began his career with the Police Department in City of San Angelo, Texas. He has also served with the Narcotic Service of the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Police Department in the City of Pasadena, Texas, before being appointed as Chief Of Police of the Pasadena Independent School District Police Department, in August, 1995. In 2005, Chief Ellis was re-elected to serve as President of the Texas School District Police Chief's Association. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of School District Police.
Assistant Chief Troy Harrison
Assistant Chief Harrison was promoted from the rank of Captain to that of Assistant Chief on August 01, 2002, following the retirement of Assistant Chief Tom Pierson. He has served as a Texas Police Officer since 1989. He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps, and completed the Basic Police Academy at the Alvin Community College. After graduation, he served in the Pasadena ISD Police Department and the South Houston Police Department. Assistant Chief Harrison returned to the District and is again serving the students, faculty, and Administration of the District. He is a graduate of the Leadership Command College (formerly the Graduate Management Institute) provided by the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas, and serves on their Alumni Board of Directors as Vice President. Chief Harrison is currently the President of the South Pasadena Rotary Club, and member of the advisory board of the Neighborhood Center, and LEPC. He considers community service a dynamic way to serve the community. Chief Harrison is tasked to continue with the development and implementation of Crisis Planning in each school in the District. He was elected as Secretary/Treasurer of the Texas Association of School District Police in 2006.
Captain Harold Nassif
Captain Nassif was promoted from the rank of Sergeant to that of Captain on August 01, 2002, following the promotion of Captain Harrison. He has served as a Texas Peace Officer since 1966. He began his career with the Pasadena Police Department and was retired as a Lieutenant with 30 years of service. While associated with the Pasadena Police Department, he commanded various specialized divisions within the Pasadena Police Department including; Detectives, Juveniles, Personnel and Training, Records and Identification, Administrative Services, and Special Operations which is comprised of S.W.A.T., C.N.T., and E.O.D. His last fifteen years with the Pasadena Police Department included additional duties as a State licensed Polygraphist. Captain Nassif is a retired military investigator having completed 25 years of active and reserve service with the U.S.A.F. Air Intelligence Agency and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. He joined the Pasadena Independent School District Police in March of 1996. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on August 01, 2000. He is now tasked with supervision of all operations for the Department. |
