403b Solicitation


 

PASADENA ISD 403(b) Plan

Pasadena Independent School District offers employees a payroll reduction plan for the purchase of annuities or other authorized investments as authorized by the Internal Revenue Code, Section 403(b).   PISD has contracted with JEM Resource Partners to be our Third Party Administrator for our 403(b) Plan.

Pasadena ISD Local Rules on  Solicitation of 403(b)s:

SOLICITATION:  All agents and representatives are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

bullet

·         Do NOT solicit accounts on campus.

bullet

·         Commercial transactions between school personnel and patrons are not permitted during the instructional day.

bullet

·         Agents will receive two (2) warnings for improper solicitation or misconduct, the second will prohibit them from any future solicitation entirely.

bullet

·         Brochures are allowed in the teacher’s lounge only with approval from School Principal 

bullet

·         Campus/Department informational presentations by agents or companies are not allowed unless approved by the Business Office

·         *To make a 403(b) salary reduction election or change online, please follow the instructions below.

1.       Go to www.jemtpa.com.

2.      Click on “Login to Retirement Solution” on the left side of the screen.

3.       If you are currently a participant in the 403(b) Plan:

a.       Click on “Login”

b.      Enter your Social Security Number as the User ID and the last four numbers of your Social

c.       Security Number for the Password, then click on “Participant”

4.       If you are not currently a participant in the 403(b) Plan:

a.       Click on “Login”

b.      Choose  “New to the System, Enroll Now”

c.       Enter Your Social Security Number as the User ID

d.  Enter "pasad403" as the password, then click on "Participant"
