How to Check Software Versions

Internet Explorer

Open Internet Explorer, click on Help on the toolbar, and select About Internet Explorer as shown below. (If you do not see the Help option, hold down the ALT key on your keyboard, press the H key, release the ALT key, and then select About Internet Explorer from the list that appears.)

This will bring up the window displayed below. If the browser is below version 6 (circled in red) and /or the update version (circled in blue) is blank you will need to download and install Internet Explorer version Service Pack 1. Contact the Instructional Technology Department for assistance with this download.
