How to Check Software Versions

Adobe Acrobat Reader

Open up Acrobat Reader, click on Help in the toolbar and then click on About Acrobat Reader as shown below. (If you do not have Acrobat Reader, contact the Instructional Technology Department to have it installed.) After selecting About Acrobat Reader, you will see the window shown below. Check to see if the version (circled in red) is 5.0.5 or greater. If you do not have the correct version, you must remove the older version before installing the correct one. Contact the Instructional Technology Department for assistance in uninstalling and then installing the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
