Optional (but highly suggested):  Back up the plan before installing the upgrade CD. 

Go to Start-->Programs-->Cimarron Campus Planner-->Compact and Repair

Click OK when it shows the plan has been successfully repaired (not that there was anything wrong with it in the first place)

 

Go to Start-->Programs-->Cimarron Campus Planner-->Backup and Restore

Click Back Up

Click Browse

Choose the A: Drive (floppy disk)

Make sure that you have a floppy disk in the disk drive

Click Start

Click OK

 

 

To install the upgraded software:

Insert the new Campus Plan Cd into the CD Drive (WARNING:  Make sure this machine already has the 2.1 version of Cimarron Installed!!)

The CD should auto run

Choose Upgrade

You will be prompted with "Setup has detected a previous version.  It will update your files."

Click OK-->Next-->Yes-->Next-->Next-->Yes-->Finish

(A cute little Texas icon will appear on your desktop.)
