The Rundown
The Rundown or Organizer
This screen allows you put your announcements in order. When organizing you should place all similar announcements together. Example: Senior News, Sports Info, Club updates.
Placement Box
The order of the rundown is created here. The script is in Alpha-Numeric order, example: A1,A2,A3,A4,B1,C,D
A1.4 is between A1 and A2.
Important: to see the rundown reflect the changes of the placement field you must “Refresh the Rundown”.
Buttons on Top
Refresh Rundown: Once you have made any changes you must “refresh the rundown” before you can see your changes. If more than one anchor/producer is working on the script the rundown must be “refreshed” before their changes are seen.
Edit Copy: This button opens the window that allows editing the script.
New Story: This allows you to add an announcement while organizing or rewriting the show with out returning to the teacher submission. Announcements entered from this button appear directly in the Rundown.
