If a student is in the hall when the tardy bell
rings do NOT allow them in to class.
Students who are in the hall when the tardy bell rings will
be sent to a central location where an admit will
be issued .
- Students who are leaving campus for the day
WILL ALSO BE ISSUED AN ADMIT and counted tardy.
- Tardy passes will be issued for the FIRST FIVE minutes after the bell
has rung.
- Students who are still in the hallway after the five minute deadline
will be escorted to the office.
Students should not be admitted into class if they
do not have a tardy admit.
- The students name, ID and class period will be on the admit.
- The time the admit was issued will also be visible.
- If too much time has elapsed since the admit was issued, the student
should be sent to the office.
On the student's third tardy a detention will be assigned. If the student fails to attend
the detention, ISC will be issued for that day. Further tardies will
result in further punishments.
Tardies and unexcused absences will be
monitored by the office. Students who have excessive absences or tardies
will be referred to the appropriate assistant principal.
