Events Calendar

The NHS & Student Council wants you to STUFF IT!

 

 

In addition to competing against the other advisories for the annual food drive, the entire SHHS family is encouraged to donate food to help us

STUFF A SCHOOL BUS.

 

 

After collecting food in advisory for the next week & ½, on Wednesday, December 13th everyone will bring their food to a bus parked in front of the school where we will attempt to STUFF THE BUS with all of our donations.

 

This event will be covered by various media so let’s make a great showing!!!

Awards

Each year, SOHO STUCO attends the TASC State Conference in Arlington, Texas. Written reports for each committee, as well as Outstanding and Top Ten, are submitted prior to the conference for grading. If enough points are accumulated in each category, an award is given for that report. When all 4 committees and Outstanding receive awards, the Council wins Sweepstakes. A scrapbook may also be submitted for an award.

2003-2004 School Year

Award for Community Service

Once a week, STUCO also participates in the L.F.Smith HOSTS program. Students are paired with children who need help with their studies. Student council has been in this program for 11 Years.
