South Houston H.S. Cheer hosts: 2009 Cheerleading Training Camp Saturday, March 7th Cheerleading try-out season is here! Learn skills and tips that will help you prepare for try-outs at any level! Learn what judges are looking for at cheerleading try-outs…jumps, motions, projection, spirit/tumbling passes, what to wear, and more! Not trying out this year? Get experience to prepare for next year…or just come to have fun learning cheers, chants, and dances!This camp is open to anyone from elementary school through high school. The cost is $25.00 for this one-day camp on Saturday, March 7th, from 9:00a.m. until 2:00p.m. (registration begins 8:30a.m.-9:00a.m.) at South Houston High School. Each participant will receive a special participation gift from the South Houston Cheerleaders that will include a CD of the music used at the camp! South Houston H.S. Cheer hosts: 2009 Cheerleading Training Camp
Who is invited:
This camp is open to anyone from elementary school through high school.
Where: South Houston High School, 3820 S. Shaver St., South Houston, TX 77587, (Registration/drop-off/pick-up will be at the Boy’s Gym off the Edgebrook side of the school.) Cost: $25.00 (Cash only please), Payable at the time of registration on the day of the camp. Each participant will receive a special participation gift from the South Houston Cheerleaders that will include a CD of the music used at the camp! Pre-registration: Please e-mail your child’s name, age, and grade level to the address below. This will allow the staff to properly establish divisions according to age or grade levels. To save you time on registration day, you can print out the registration form prior to the camp day. Then all you have to do is turn in the completed form with your payment on the day of the camp. What to bring to camp/how to prepare for camp:
Drop-off: Drop-off will be at the Boys’ Gym along the Edgebrook side of the school. This is also where registration will be held. Parents/Guardians please make sure that your child brings a registration/waiver form signed by you prior to arrival if they are riding to camp with someone other than you. Pick-up: Pick-up will be from the boys’ gym on the Edgebrook side of the school. All participants will participate in a “show-off” at the conclusion of the camp for friends and family. We will highlight some of the camp material they learned during the camp. We will begin this at approximately 1:40 p.m. Release will be at 2:00p.m.
