SHHS Band

Members of The Mighty Trojan Band recently competed at the Region 19 Honor Band competition held at Dobie and Aldine High Schools. These students earned the following honors:

• Bryan Cobb – French Horn, All-District Band, 3^rd Chair All-Region Band Wind Ensemble, All-Region Orchestra. Bryan also placed high enough to be named to the Area F Honor Band where he will compete for a position in the TMEA All-State Honor Band.
• Keith Chambles – Clarinet, All-District Band, 6^th Chair All-Region Band Wind Symphony.
• Reg Smith – Tenor Saxophone, All-District Band, 2^nd Chair All-Region Band Wind Symphony.
• Nicole Neveu – Trumpet, All-District Band, 3^rd Chair All-Region Band Wind Symphony.
• Virjinia Garcia – Bassoon, All-District Band
• Carlos Olazaba – Tuba, All-District Band, 3^rd chair All-Region Band Wind Symphony
