Located on the northwest side of the former Dobie High School campus on Beamer, the purpose of the Challenger School is to create a motivational school of choice with a flexible, caring, innovative environment.

At Challenger, fifth, sixth and seventh grade students who have not had academic success in the past have opportunities for academic and social growth. Challenger provides student centered instruction and a flexible educational setting that allows for social development in a non-traditional environment.
