Coach Grochett is in his
eleventh year of coaching and teaching. This is his second year as the Head
coach for the Texans. He has coached baseball and taught at Sam Rayburn the
past seven years. Currently he teaches P.E. He also coaches football
where he is the receivers coach and the Special Teams Coordinator. He
loves to work with and develop young men. He tries not to only teach young
men about the game but about life. He received his Bachelors from Texas A&M.
He has been married to his lovely wife Tonya for four years. In his spare
time he tries to play as much golf as he can and spend as much time with his
family.

Coach Miley is entering his
fourth year at Sam Rayburn High School. He has been the coach of the
sophomore and junior varsity during his first three years and is now the
varsity assistant coach. He previously coached Baseball for two years at Clear Lake
High School. He teaches Special Ed. and P.E. at Sam Rayburn and at other
campuses throughout the district. He has been married to his wife Leann for
nine years. They have two children, Madison and Parker. In his free time he
likes to play golf and spend time with his family. He is also a movie
fanatic. If he is not at home or on the field you can catch him at a theater
near you.

Coach Hamon begins his third year at Sam
Rayburn, and his second as a baseball coach. He is very excited to be
coaching at his alma mater where he pitched and played outfield under former
head coach, Bill Hurry. After his career at Sam Rayburn, Coach Hamon
pitched at Alvin Community College where he was named the Texas-New Mexico
Junior College All-Star Team. He then moved onto Texas A&M- Corpus Christi
where he earned 1st team All-Independent honors. Immediately following his
senior season, Coach Hamon signed with the Houma Hawks, an independent minor
league baseball team in Louisiana. In addition to baseball, he coaches
football, girls' basketball, and teaches Geometry.
In his free time, Coach Hamon and his wife,
Layna, enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with his
family.
