Friends of the Maverick Library --- Volunteers

If you are interested in becoming a "Friend of the Maverick Library" through volunteer work, please contact the Librarian, Betty Baker, at 281-991-2440.  Information will be provided on how to become part of the "Friends of the Maverick Library" volunteer group!  Parent or community volunteers are welcomed and appreciated. 

The library is in need of Volunteers willing to be trained to offer assistance in the following areas:

• Maintain library collections by reshelving books and keeping the library in good order for our patrons.

• Simple book check-in and check-out (this requires a training commitment)

• Assistance such as answering the phone, helping to process materials, filing back issues of periodicals or catalogs, and helping with library errands or distribution of materials
