The assignment

You and your partner will create a “rap” song about a topic from Greek culture.  During your time in the library your should plan to use both print and electronic (subscription database) resources. You may continue your research out of class and at home. Be sure to take the Library's Password Page with you for the electronic resources.

You will need at least five different sources: 

1. Three (3) electronic (subscription database) resources

(no Wikipedia or Google searches)    

2. Two (2) printed sources (see your class reserve cart)

The subscription databases shown on the Research Resources page provide your electronic or "Internet" resources for your project.  

Evaluating Information

Be sure to utilize credible and reliable sources  -- articles that are self-published or that rely on personal opinion, publications that are slanted in favor of one side, or sites that are strongly commercial will not meet criteria required from good researchers.  Resources found on the Research Resources page have authority and can be considered credible and reliable   

Citing Sources

Keep a list of resources used.  The Citing Sources Worksheet will be turned in as your list of resources used.
