1.       Use specific information from your research to gather IMPORTANT INFORMATION that helps to thoroughly explain, describe or inform about your nonfiction topic.   This information should come from both database articles and books.  As you gather these IMPORTANT facts, be sure to place a source number beside the fact and cite your source on the worksheet.

2.       Use Gale’s magazine / newspaper tab or ProQuest Gold to explore your topic using magazines or newspapers.  Select one article that you feel adds significant information or interesting information about your topic.

3.       Every topic has “words / vocabulary” that are necessary when explaining or discussing or exploring the topic.  As you explore your topic develop a list of words that you feel are necessary or specific to your topic.  Explain how that word relates to or is important to your topic.  You must have a minimum of 10 “vocabulary” words but you may have more.  These must come from both books as well as the database articles you read.  These must be words that are important to your topic.
