Use library resources to
select and explore the life of a famous person. Your research will
focus on discovering specific details about your person's life that you
will use to prove their character archetype. For
more information use your class research packet for additional
information on how to plan and work through your project. (

Steps in Planning Your Research

Select your person
-
Determine the character archetype to which you plan to compare this
person
-
Decide which two characteristics of this archetype on which you will
focus
-
Take notes or highlight information from your research that provides
specific details about the person that will fit into the archetype
characteristics you selected above.
As you gather these details you should use information from at least one book and
two database articles.

as your electronic sources

Record the sources you use on the
Library’s “Worksheet
for
Citing Sources."

Resources |
The subscription databases shown on the
Research Resources page provide your electronic or "Internet"
resources for your project.
Reference books and other book
resources used during your library research will be placed on Ms.
Fernandez's class reserve cart to be held
throughout the project. Book that are not
reference books may be checked out after 7th period on the final day of
library research. |
