Caudillo

The assignment

We’re going to give Mr. C a break!  You will become the teacher.  You will 1 pick a topic about social change during the 1960s & ‘70s from the list provided (or talk to Mr. C if you have an alternate topic in mind), 2 do research, 3 put together a presentation, and 4 present your topic to the class.

Information needed

Topic List      Information should be gathered from a minimum of three (3) print / book resources and three (3) electronic / database articles     (Note:  Your 1st print source should be your textbook!)

Resources

The subscription databases shown on the Research Resources page provide your electronic resources for your project.  These resources provide both visuals and reference information.  Books to help you have been placed on Mr. C's reserve cart.

Evaluating Information

Locate,  READ to evaluate and gather information from resources that provide useful or important information about your topic.

As you research notice the picture / image resources available to you in the various databases.  Saving pictures to Gaggle Email as you research can save you important time later.

Evaluating Sources

Be sure to utilize credible and reliable sources  -- articles that are self-published or that rely on personal opinion, publications that are slanted in favor of one side, or sites that are strongly commercial will not meet criteria required from good researchers.  Resources found on the Research Resources page have authority and can be considered credible and reliable
