The J. R. O. T. C. District Inspection
Once every school year, an inspection is held in order to evaluate the
quality of the ROTC program and its cadets. Usually the Inspection begins around 6:45 am,
but all of the cadets must be in campus and ready to go at 6:25 am. From then on, all of the cadets
are inspected until about 1:00 pm. The three general areas of this Inspection are knowledge, uniform
condition, and drill. Each individual cadet is inspected in accordance with rank, position, and the
by the time that the cadet has been on the program. If the cadet proves to have a perfect Inspection
then usually that cadet receives trophy at the award ceremony and a promotion.
