The counseling department at PHS offers a variety of services to the students by offering career training, financial aid advice for colleges, helping students find scholarships, selecting high school courses, brief counseling and referrals for students with social difficulties, and many more services.

There is an additional person in the counseling office to help all our PHS
students prepare for college. Christine Coronado is the San Jacinto
College-Central Counselor. She will be available at PHS on Mondays and
Tuesdays, and alternating Fridays. She is here to answer any questions
students and/or parents might have about career option, college admissions,
etc.
