Chris Bolyard served for the last two years as Principal of The Summit, Pasadena Independent School District’s Disciplinary Alternative Education Program.  He has also served as an Assistant Principal at Park View Intermediate and Pasadena Memorial High School.  Mr. Bolyard has also served the Pasadena district as a Special Education Instructional Specialist where he supervised and supported programs for emotionally disturbed students at Elementary, Intermediate and High Schools within the district.  He began his career in public education as a Special Education Teacher at Park View Intermediate in a district-wide program that serves severely emotionally disturbed students.  In addition to formal positions, Mr. Bolyard has a great deal of experience providing staff development sessions in the area of Behavior Management and Positive Behavioral Supports.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences from Concordia University in Austin, Texas and a Master of Science degree in Educational Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
