Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Associate's degree
OR
-Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education
(minimum 48 hours or more)
OR
-Pasadena ISD Paraprofessional's Assessment of Competencies --PAC Test

Requirements and Skills:
-Ability to work with special needs students
(All levels: ELEMENTARY, INTERMEDIATE. HIGH SCHOOL)

• restrain disruptive students

• Work in a stressful situation and maintain confidentiality issues

• Assist teacher in routine classroom management duties

• In the loading and unloading of the school bus

• With individual student's personal hygiene needs

• Lift, move, and position students in a variety of settings

• Feed or assist students in feeding themselves
