Salary Range: $93.30-$144.90 / Daily
                      $22,393-$34,776/Annual

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and meet maintain insurance requirements of PISD.
• Must pass drug test and physical and be part of a random drug testing program
• Must pass criminal history check
• Must be willing to obtain EPA approved certification of refrigerant handling
• Minimum three (3) years experience in maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment
• Three (3) years in refrigeration repair and maintenance preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old

Requirements and Skills:

• Working knowledge of electrical controls/pertaining to refrigeration units

• Working knowledge of low, medium and high temperature for refrigeration          

• Working knowledge of electrical circuits (including 480 volt circuits) and the ability to troubleshoot them

• Ability to make minor plumbing repairs and repair control systems of gas fire hot water boilers

• Perform maintenance/repair of walk-in-freezers, ice machines, beverage boxes, freezer chests, salad bars, drinking fountains and kitchen equipment (pulpers, ovens, warmers, mixers, etc)

• Perform installation and repair of microwave ovens and mixers, washing machines and dryers
