Qualifications:
Preference:

Principal
Certificate, Mid-Management, or Supervisor Certification

Demonstrated
instructional proficiency for Science instruction that addresses the needs
of all learners

Background
and experience in curriculum planning and development

Training in
and ability to work with administrators, teacher, parents, and students
concerning learning differences
-
Extensive
staff development background and demonstrated proficiency in the delivery
of staff development and the facilitation of adult learning
Letter of
interest should a maximum of three (3) pages and should briefly address the
following areas:

Staff
development in which the applicant has been a participant and staff
development the applicant has developed and delivered in the last two
years
-
Process of
providing leadership and support to teachers in multiple areas

Three
to five priority steps to prepare for TAKS in the area of science
-
Instructional strategies that meet the needs of all students in the
classroom
