Salary Range: $90.78 -$141.75/Daily
                      $21,788-$34,012/Annual
                      (Compensation based on experience)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license

• Meet and maintain insurance requirements of PISD

• Must pass drug test and physical and be part of a random drug testing program

• Must pass criminal history check

• Completed apprenticeship training or two years job related training
• Certification in refrigerant recovery preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum three years experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial equipment preferred

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists the technician with the installation, maintenance and major repairs on commercial HVAC equipment
• Completes work orders concerning adjustment and repair of equipment
• Assists technicians with routine adjustments to start or stop seasonal equipment
• Assists technicians in the adjustment of air flow, safety devices and thermostats
• Assist technicians in dismantling central HVAC systems when major parts such as compressors, pumps, motors, etc.,must be repaired
• Must be willing to become a licensed asbestos abatement worker
• Must be able to perform necessary paperwork to process work orders
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work from ladders and elevated platforms, lift heavy items on a continuous basis and have full use of all faculties
