Range: $90.78 -$141.75/Daily
$21,788-$34,012/Annual

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
preferred

Must have a valid Texas
driver’s license

Meet and maintain insurance
requirements of PISD

Must pass drug test and
physical and be part of a random drug testing program

Must pass criminal history
check
- Completed apprenticeship
training or two years job related training
- Certification in
refrigerant recovery preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum three years
experience in the repair and maintenance of
commercial
equipment preferred
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists
the technician with the installation, maintenance and major repairs on
commercial HVAC equipment

Completes work orders concerning adjustment and repair of equipment
- Assists
technicians with routine adjustments to start or stop seasonal equipment
- Assists
technicians in the adjustment of air flow, safety devices and thermostats
- Assist
technicians in dismantling central HVAC systems when major parts such as
compressors, pumps, motors, etc.,must be repaired
- Must be
willing to become a licensed asbestos abatement worker
- Must be
able to perform necessary paperwork to process work orders
- Perform
other duties as assigned
- Must be
able to work from ladders and elevated platforms, lift heavy items on a
continuous basis and have full use of all faculties
