Salary Range:  $65,351-$81,710 school year  (Commensurate With Experience)

Qualifications:

• Certified in Secondary Science Grades 9-12

• Minimum of five years high school science teaching experience

Preference:

• Masters Degree

• Demonstrated excellence in the delivery of rigorous and relevant science instruction

• Experience in curriculum planning and lesson development

• Demonstrated ability to work with administrators, teachers, parents and students

• Extensive staff development history

• Demonstrated proficiency in the delivery of staff development and the facilitation of adult learning

• Extensive knowledge of the state and national science standards

• Demonstrated leadership abilities including skills in consensus building, active listening, written and oral communication, organization, time management, creative problem solving, and working in a team setting to formulate and accomplish shared goals
