Qualifications:
High School
Diploma or GED preferred
Current City
of Houston Food Service Manager Certificate:
(TASN Level
I Certification)
Minimum of
one (1)year experience in the school food service industry
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Ability to speak read and write the English
language
- Basic knowledge of math and money handling
techniques
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Computer literate
- Must be available to help manage other schools in
emergency situations or substitute for Manager in his or her absence
- Assist in supervisory duties and participate in
the preparation and serving of attractive, wholesome, and nutritious
food in the cafeteria
- Assist in training kitchen employees and cashiers
- Assist in assigning tasks and completing work
schedules for kitchen employees
- Assist in accounting for all financial
transactions connected with meal service in the cafeteria
