This program was
designed to assist students with their writing skills.
Partners are
assigned an elementary-school student to correspond with through
monthly letters.
A school
district or business representative will deliver letters from the
business partner to the participating students at the beginning of
each month.
Towards the end
of the same month, partners will receive a return letter from
their pen pal.
Letters are
exchanged throughout the school year, once a month, until the end
of March when the business partners will plan a luncheon at the
school for the pen pals to finally meet face to face.
