Twenty nine campuses in the Pasadena Independent School District received recognized status and one campus received a recognized rating as a result of test scores on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS).
Students taking the TAKS test in 2005-06 faced more rigorous standards, as the state panel recommended criteria was used to score the tests. In past years, the state students had to correctly answer fewer questions to achieve a passing score.
