Gardens Elementary School principal Celia Fleischman has been named the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association representative to the National Association of Elementary School Principals.

Fleischman was the 2008-2009 TEPSA president and continues to be an active member. She has served as Gardens principal since 1985 and under her direction Gardens has been named a Texas Recognized Campus and a Texas Successful School. Fleischman also received the District 4 TEPSAN of the Year award. 

TEPSA,  formed in 1917 is an organization of 5,800 professional leaders including principals, assistant principals and administrators dedicated to providing quality education for all elementary and middle school students.
