Miller
Intermediate School faculty and staff recently
participated in a pumpkin carving and decorating
contest to help raise money for the school for
ongoing needs. Judges included community members and
Pasadena ISD employees, and the students also picked
their favorite pumpkin by donating change to their
favorite one. More than $178 was collected over a
three day period. Winners included Juli
Hare/attendance clerk, Bryan Gripp/band director,
Kelley Marosko/career investigation, Luz Guillen/ESL
teacher, Joe Saavedra/principal, and Christina
Sandoval, Melissa Torres and Esmeralda
Rodriguez/SUCCESS aides worked on a winning pumpkin
together.
