High school choirs to honor veterans
at Choral Spectacular

In honor of Veterans Day, the Dobie, Pasadena Memorial, Sam Rayburn, South Houston, and Pasadena high school choirs will be presenting the Pasadena Independent School District Choral Spectacular at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 at South Main Baptist Church.

The performance will feature songs such as “God Bless America,” “Let Freedom Ring,” “America the Beautiful,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and more.

Dr. Eduardo Garcia-Novelli will serve as the guest conductor of the performance. Garcia-Novelli is the Director of Choral Activities at Lamar University in Beaumont, is the Symphony of the Southeast Chorus Director, and hosts “Perfect Pitch, Music for Choirs,” a weekly show on public radio in Beaumont.

Admission is free. All parents, veterans and community members are welcome to attend.
