Golden Acres fund-raiser becomes
a colorful, hair-raising experience

Golden Acres Elementary students held a fund-raiser for the four-square, hopscotch and basketball courts at the school. The fund-raiser involved students putting their spare change in a cauldron of a principal or teachers of their choice. The person who had the most change in their cauldron, would have their hair painted during Book Character Dress-Up Day. Assistant Principal Tami King, dressed as Snow White, received the most support from the student body and was given new colors in her hair for a day at an assembly with the students.
