Mae Smythe offers computer classes for parents

The Peer Facilitators at Mae Smythe Elementary opened up the school's computer lab to help student’s parents with their computer skills.  These lessons are free of charge to Mae Smythe Parents and help assist promoting technology use at home to match the technology curriculum that is being delivered in the classroom.  This was the second lesson in a three part series of classes in which parents signed up to be participants.  Mae Smythe is already planning more parent technology lessons soon, with the ultimate goal to have a greater access for technology in the home setting.
