Moore Elementary students and faculty donated over 3,000 items to U.S. soldiers overseas as part of the Operation Shoe Box program. Students donated over 32 boxes of non-perishable food items, toiletries, books/magazines and Christmas ornaments. Students surpassed the 700 item goal that was originally set and as a reward, the students were allowed to wear camoflage on Nov. 12 in celebration of Veterans' Day.
