Three Pasadena ISD students were recently named Dell Scholars and will receive a $20,000 award to go toward their college education. 

Recent Dobie High School graduates Truc Le and Joseph Nguyen, along with South Houston High School graduate Agustin Yanez received the honors. 

“We are extremely proud of these students,” said Kirk Lewis, Pasadena ISD superintendent. “We are grateful to Dell and we know that their generosity will make a positive impact on these students’ futures.”

The Dell Scholars Program is offered to high school students participating in approved college readiness programs. Since 2004, $9 million in college scholarships have been provided. 250 scholarships will be awarded annually.
