TEPSA names Richey's Tiffany Bennett
as Assistant Principal of the Year

The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) named Tiffany Bennett of Richey Elementary in Pasadena ISD, District 4 Assistant Principal of the Year. 

The Assistant Principal Award recognizes outstanding school administrators for their educational leadership and dedication to children. Honorees will be recognized at the TEPSA Awards Banquet Wednesday, June 13, at the Austin Renaissance Hotel. 

“The leadership these educators provide ensure that Texas schools serve students successfully,” said TEPSA Executive Director Sandi Borden.   

Bennet, an assistant principal since 2004, received her principal certification from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She was previously named Teacher of the Year by the Pasadena Noon Optimist

TEPSA represents more than 5,300 elementary and middle school leaders, including principals, assistant principals, central office administrators and supervisors of reading, mathematics, science, special education and other disciplines. Formed in 1917, TEPSA was created to improve children’s futures by bettering education at the elementary level.
