After recommendations of a recent audit, elementary meal prices will now increase for adults in Pasadena schools. Adult breakfast prices will now increase to $1.60, while lunch prices will climb to $2.60. 

In a recent review of the Food Services Department by the Texas Department of Agriculture, it suggested that the adult elementary meals prices should be adjusted. According to the formula used by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the prices were too low. Their recommendation was to raise the prices, or the district would have been subject to a financial penalty.
