Tramanh Hoang completed her
four year forensic career at Dobie High School in excellent
fashion at the National Forensic League National Tournament in
Birmingham, Ala.
This was Hoang’s fifth
national competition representing Dobie High in forensic
competitions. Hoang placed thirteenth in the nation for original
oratory out of 200 competitors.
There were over 3,000
students from across the U.S. and Hawaii vying for the national
titles in ten different events. Hoang earned the right to
compete in original oratory; a ten minute memorized original
speech written by the student. Hoang’s oratory was entitled,
Domo Arrigato, Mr. Roboto, addressing society’s issue with
mental slavery and people can free themselves from this type of
confinement.
