Wal-Mart recently donated $500 to the Garfield Elementary School speech program.  The donation of funds will be effectively utilized to purchase new intervention resource materials that will greatly assist the implementation of new speech interventions for the school's student population within the speech program.  On hand for the check presentation were Garfield assistant principals Martin Moffett and Rena Ramirez, Wal-Mart assistant manager Yolanda Preston and Garfield principal Scott Harrell.
