Transition Fair will provide information
for students with special needs

The Pasadena ISD Special Programs Department will host the 2007 Transition Fair from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at Pasadena High School.

The transition fair will offer students and their parents the opportunity to meet with private and public agencies that provide a variety of support services to transitioning youth and adults with disabilities. This year, the Transition Fair will include a forum of college representatives and Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) staff members who specialize in working with people with disabilities.

Organizations that will be at the event include the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority (MHMRA), the Texas WorkSource and representatives from the Unversity of Houston, Texas Tech University, San Jacinto College, Alvin Community College and Houston Community College.
