Allan
Cranfill, former Pasadena High agriculture teacher,
and his family were presented with more than $2,000
by the Pasadena High School constructive systems
students as a fundraising event from the class. The
students made over 70 ornaments in honor of
Cranfill’s 2-year-old son who was diagnosed with a
very rare cancer in 2006. The family has been
battling the disease—and doctor bills—since that
time, and the district has come together on several
occasions to raise money for them. This was the most
recent event. The ornaments said Josh’s name and had
two angels surrounding it, representing the prayers
coming from the teacher, Victoria Harris, her
students and the rest of the school. Josh’s second
birthday was on the Dec. 12.
