As a lesson in Karen Stocco and Renee Martinez' classes at Tegeler Career Center, the students built a gingerbread house to display at Tegeler and to take to Interfaith Manor on Easthaven for the residents to enjoy there. Tegeler students volunteer at Interfaith every month at their Pot Luck dinner. The students talked about science applications as they built the house.
