Many Pasadena ISD schools will host orientations, Meet The Teacher meetings and open houses for students and parents. This list will be updated on a regular basis as information becomes available. Schools holding events in the coming weeks are as follows:  

Rick Schneider Middle School

Rick Schneider Middle School will provide fifth and sixth grade students and their parents an opportunity to see their classrooms, meet their homeroom teacher and drop off school supplies. Fifth graders will meet from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 and sixth graders will meet from 4:30- 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 20. In addition Schneider will host its Fifth Grade Open House from 6-7 p.m. on Sept. 22 and the Sixth Grade Open House will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Sept 29. 

Garfield Elementary

Garfield Elementary is having a Meet the Teacher and School Supply Drop- Off night from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 20. School supply packets are on sale in the office daily beginning Aug. 18 from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m.  

Morris Middle School

Morris Middle School will have Family Visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Aug 20. 

South Belt Elementary

South Belt Elementary will hold a Meet the Teacher Night and School Supply Drop- Off on Aug. 20 from 6- 6:45 p.m. for grades kindergarten through second. The third and fourth grade students will follow from 7– 7:45 p.m.  

Teague Elementary

Teague Elementary will host a “Meet, Greet and Drop” from 4- 6 p.m. on Aug. 20, parents can meet teachers and drop off school supplies.  

Frazier Elementary

Frazier Elementary School will have its “Meet, Greet and Drop- Off School Supplies” night from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 20. Grandparent’s Week and the Book Fair will be the week of Sept. 14- 18. 

Dr. Dixie Melillo Middle School

Dr. Dixie Melillo Middle School will host its Parent Orientation, parents and students should attend based on the alphabetical order of their child’s last name. Sixth graders with last names beginning with letters A-L will meet from 5- 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 20, sixth graders with names beginning with letters M-Z will meet from 6:45- 8 p.m. Fifth graders with last names beginning with letters A-L will meet from 5-6:15 p.m. on Aug. 24 and fifth graders with letters M-Z will meet from 6:45-8 p.m. 

Frazier Elementary

Frazier Elementary School will have its “Meet, Greet and Drop- Off School Supplies” night from 5- 7 p.m. on Aug. 20. Grandparent’s Week and the Book Fair will be the week of Sept. 14- 18.

V.W. Miller Intermediate

V.W. Miller Intermediate School will have its “Flight Camp” (new student orientation) from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Aug. 21 also there will be Parent Orientation from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. Open House will be from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. on Sept 10 and Picture Day will be on Sept 11.

Earnesteen Milstead Middle School

Earnesteen Milstead Middle School will have an Open House from 5:30- 7 p.m. for fifth graders on Aug 19 and there will be an Open House from 5:30- 7 p.m. for sixth graders on Aug 20.

Matthys Elementary

Matthys Elementary School will have a Parent Meeting and Supply Drop- Off for pre- kindergarten students from 6:30- 7:30p.m. on Aug 18. This is an informative meeting for all pre- kindergarten parents. Parents please do not bring your children to this meeting. Parents with children in kindergarten through fourth grade can attend the Supply Drop- Off and Meet the Teacher from 4- 6 p.m. on Aug 20.

Southmore Intermediate

Southmore Intermediate is hosting “Schedule Pick- Up Night” from 4:30- 5:30 p.m. on Aug 20.

 L.F. Smith Elementary

L.F. Smith Elementary School will have Orientation for a.m. pre- kindergarteners at 10:30 a.m. and Orientation for p.m. pre- kindergarteners at 12 p.m. and kindergarteners will have Orientation at 1 p.m. on Aug 21.  Parents may bring supplies on this day. Meet the Teacher night will be from 6- 7 p.m. on Sept 10.  

Golden Acres Elementary

Golden Acres Elementary School will host a Meet the Teacher day and Supply Drop- Off from 4- 6 p.m. on Aug 20.  

Atkinson Elementary

Atkinson Elementary will have a Meet and Greet the Teacher and School Supply Drop- Off from 4-5:30 p.m. on Aug. 21. Grade level orientations will be held in September. 

Carter Lomax Middle School

Carter Lomax Middle School will have its “Colt Round-Up” on Aug. 21. Students will meet according to alphabetical order.  Fifth graders with last names beginning with letters A- M will meet from 8:15 - 9:15 a.m., fifth graders with last names beginning with letters N- Z will meet from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. Sixth graders with last names beginning with letters A- M will meet from 10:45 -11:15 a.m., sixth graders with last names beginning with letters N-Z will meet from 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. 

Pearl Hall Elementary

Pearl Hall Elementary will host its Meet the Teacher and School Supply Drop-Off from 4-6:30 p.m. on Aug. 21. 

V.W. Miller Intermediate

Mae Smythe Elementary School is having Meet the Teacher day for Pre- Kindergarten through Fourth grade students from 3-4 p.m. on Aug. 24.

Jensen Elementary  

Jensen Elementary School will have its Meet the Teacher day from 4- 6 p.m. on Aug.24  

Williams Elementary 

Williams Elementary School is hosting a Meet the Teacher and Supply Drop- Off day from 1- 3 p.m. on Aug 24. 

Turner Elementary 

Turner Elementary School will have Supply Drop- Off night from 4- 6 p.m. on Aug 24. “Curriculum Night” will be held from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. for third and fourth graders on Sept 8 and pre- kindergarten through second grade students will have “Curriculum Night” from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. on Sept 10. Grandparents Week and the Book Fair will be the week of Sept 14- 18. 

L. P. Card Career and Technical Center  

L.P. Card Career and Technical Center will have “Parent Night” from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. on Sept 28.  

Genoa Elementary 

Genoa Elementary School will have “Meet, Greet and Drop” from 4- 5:30 p.m. on Aug 24. Pre- kindergarten through first grade students will have Open House from 6- 7 p.m. on Sept 29. Second through fourth grade students will have Open House from 6- 7 p.m. on Oct 1. 

Pasadena High School 

Pasadena High School invites parents to attend “Freshmen Parent Night” to meet the campus staff and teachers, review academic and campus expectations from 6:30- 8 p.m. on Aug 24. In addition, representatives from various student organizations will be there to answer questions students may have about getting involved.
