Fisher Elementary will host a parent information meeting about its Dual Language Program that will begin in the 2007-2008 school year at 6 p.m., April 30 at the school campus, 2920 Watters Road.

The dual language program will be offered to students who will enter kindergarten in the fall. The program will provide integrated English and Spanish instruction for both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking students. The goal of the program is for children develop proficiency in their second language while maintaining and enhancing their first language.
